9 Ways of Generating New Ideas for Your Business. - The Write Impression
How do you come up with new ideas?
Do you offer everything you possible could for your clients?
How do you come up with new ideas?
George Bernard Shaw once said, “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.”
This list is how I generate new ideas, and they are all excellent ways of getting new ideas for your business (or anything, really):
- You can brainstorm (in a structured way) things that people need – for me, that was writing-related things.
- You can ask your friends, your colleagues and your social networks what they need.
- You can read a lot of research.
- You can observe.
- You can ask your clients.
- You can ask your mentors.
- You can look at what other people are offering.
- You can use mind maps.
- You can meditate – with music, before you go to bed, in the shower, on a walk to the beach…
Can you add any different methods for getting ideas to this list?
